Why should I Join ?

The ISM is recognised by many organisations. By having the designation MISecM or FISecM you are showing employers (current and prospective) and others within the Security Industry that you have a professional outlook towards your chosen career.

The ISM is represented throughout the Security Industry and has successfully lobbied for it's Member's interests both through influential contacts and directly through it's own efforts.

The recently launched Web Site will grow ing content and will also be used as an avenue for the members to contact the ISM and each other.

There are Regional Sections of the Institute which allow meetings and contact between members, prospective members and colleagues from the Industry.

What is the cost of membership?

Annual Subscriptions run from 1st January to 31st December and are:

Student or Associate:  £40.00

Member:                      £60.00

Corporate Member:   On application

Fellow:                        £75.00
