ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE
INSTITUTE OF SECURITY MANAGEMENT
In advance of the formal notice of the Annual General Meeting, this is a note for your diaries. The Governing Council would be pleased to see as many members as possible at the Meeting.
This is the nineteenth Annual General Meeting of the Institute and will be held on Saturday 24th May 2008 at 12.00 noon at Securitas Security Services Limited, Unit 4, Cuckoo Wharf, Lichfield Road, Aston, Birmingham B6 7SS.
The location has been changed this year to further enable ease of access to the venue which is situated approximately 500 yards South from the M6; J6 ('Spaghetti') on Lichfield Road.
We can tell you that, following the formal meeting, there will be a chance to express your thoughts of the many and varied aspects of our industry and therefore enable those thoughts to be passed to Government.
Refreshments will be available and we hope to have a short business session into the early afternoon with a knowledgeable presenter.
Full details, together with formal notice of the business of the Meeting, will be sent to all members of the Institute within the provisions of Article 8, Constitution & Rules of the Institute not less than 28 days prior to the Meeting.
Please remember, if you have any formal Resolutions for consideration at the Meeting then such Resolutions must be notified in writing to reach the Secretary not less that 14 days before the date of the meeting and carry the signature of the person proposing and seconding them.
